Application Guide
Professional installation techniques for optimal performance
Surface Preparation
Clean and dry the application surface thoroughly. Remove oil, grease, and debris. For wet surfaces, allow to dry completely before application.
Proper Wrapping
Apply with 50% overlap for maximum seal effectiveness. Maintain consistent tension throughout the wrap for uniform coverage and protection.
Temperature Range
Continuous operation: 500°F (260°C). Intermittent peaks: up to 1000°F (540°C). Ideal for high-heat industrial applications.
Multi-Layer Application
For extreme conditions, apply multiple layers with alternating wrap directions. This enhances thermal protection and structural integrity.
Chemical Resistance
Resistant to acids, alkalis, and most solvents. Non-corrosive and safe for use on metal, rubber, and fiberglass surfaces.
